Dear Mapeadores,
I’m writing to not appeal the ban I received but to explain how spectacularly off-base you were when you insta-banned me for “trolling.” Strap in:
The admin Telo banned me for “trolling” due to an incident involving an incendiary grenade near a floor button trap.
I would like to explain my side clearly, as my intention was not to troll or get others killed.
What happened:
- Somebody just died there on the button, and often when players die, they drop their own incendiary grenades.
- My plan was to:
- Throw my own incendiary after the trap (on the door not the button).
- Quickly collect the dropped incendiary that was lying near the button.
- This would give me two incendiaries to help the team during the round.
- Reality Check:
- No one died.
- Zero wait time. Not even a millisecond wasted dodging fire (if I remember clearly, please correct me with a video clip if I am wrong).
- I immediately hopped into voice chat: “Yo, wasn’t on purpose.”
- Followed up with a quick chat message: “Not trolling, promise.”
Why I believe the ban was unfair (please don’t remove the ban in case you realize how wrong you were):
- I immediately clarified in voice chat that the action was unintentional.
- I also sent a chat message right afterward stating it wasn’t on purpose.
- No players were harmed and the trap’s functionality wasn’t delayed at all.
- My only goal was smarter and more efficient utility usage, not sabotaging the game.
no evidence of trolling, no casualties, no delay.
Just a failed savvy utility play that backfired thanks to overzealous admin reflexes. If you have a clip you can even see me trying to collect (Epick) the lying inc grenade on that button trap for many seconds.
Lastly but not leastly I’ll be real. I am having a sulk about the whole thing. I’m even low-key considering ghosting the server like Col™, who threw a tantrum when he didn’t make admin and peaced out forever. Don’t want to turn into that meme… but here we are.

Ban length was adjusted. You do deserved the ban but it was a bit harsh for what you did. Just dont try to ruin the experience for your teammates in the future.

I appreciate the response and the effort to adjust the ban length. Really, classy move.
That said - small correction though. I never actually asked for an unban or a shorter sentence. In fact, if anything, maybe I deserved longer… you know, to reflect and meditate in spec mode on how to safely harvest inc grenades off dead downednoobs.
The ban itself isn’t the issue. The issue is the casual admin witch-hunting that kicks off the moment one random chimpanzee in chat screams “permaban!” and suddenly it’s Salem 1692 in here.
The real troll move wasn’t mine - it was you Telo yeeting 66% of the round’s winning potential by banning me instantly, based on vibes. We could’ve clutched. We could’ve lived. But alas. It was my 4th or 5th actual tryhard Dark Souls run - which, as history shows, is usually just enough for me to carry.
Also sidenote: while we’re naming names, modExtreme, you owe us one for slaying the sword guy mid-ze_pirate-op and single-handedly handing the boss his W. Bold strategy. Can’t wait to see it on repeat next round.
No hard feelings though - I do love this server. Just a reminder that sometimes, the real griefers aren’t the ones holding the utility… but the ones holding the slay button.

Sure, I might’ve gotten banned last time for “lowering team odds,” but here I am - top frag, highest damage, and carrying you through Dark Souls like it’s a sunny stroll in Dust 2.
No hard feelings though - just doing my duty as the misunderstood utility genius of the server.
Let’s make this thread a historical lesson:
Sometimes the villain is just the protagonist with bad timing.
